Product selection

The focus in this project has been set on stationary TVs. The team has conducted a market research which provided an input on current market trends, bestselling products, and user requirements. The approach was to analyse the bestseller lists of large online shops such as Amazon which are available in many EU countries (e.g. DE, FR, UK, AT, IT). Other public sources of information on the TV markets were also investigated and considered. The findings and conclusions were summarised in a summary report.

Based on these criteria and an extensive online research, a comprehensive list of current products (which actually fall under the Ecodesign and Energy Labelling implementing measures) has been compiled in a report together with the description of the product selection methodology.
